சலீம், தர்மதுரை படங்களை தயாரித்தவர் ஆர்.கே.சுரேஷ். இவர் பாலா இயக்கிய ‘தாரை தப்பட்டை’ படம் மூலம் நடிகராக அறிமுகமானார். பின்னர் ‘மருது’ உட்பட பல படங்களில் வில்லனாக நடித்தார். அதை தொடர்ந்து ‘பில்லா பாண்டி’, ‘வேட்டை நாய்’, ‘தனிமுகம்’ உள்ளிட்ட சில படங்களில் கதாநாயகனாகவும் நடித்து வருகிறார். அதேசமயம் விக்ரம் நடித்து வரும் ‘ஸ்கெட்ச்’ உள்ளிட்ட சில படங்களில் வில்லன் வேடத்தையும் தொடர்ந்து வருகிறார். தற்போது ஆர்.கே.சுரேஷ் மலையாள படத்தில் 70 வயது முதியவராக நடிக்கிறார். முதன்முறையாக மலையாள சினிமாவில் அடியெடுத்து வைத்துள்ள ஆர்.கே.சுரேஷ், ‘சிகாரி சாம்பு’ என்கிற படத்தில் தான் இப்படி ஒரு கெட்டப்பில் நடிக்கிறார்.
